Amongst the successes Greenpeace can claim are the protection from exploitation of Antarctica, an end to nuclear testing, the elimination of dumping nuclear waste at sea, the Stockholm Treaty banning many of the world’s most dangerous chemicals and a ban on commercial whaling.
